Wellstar MCG Health Imaging, a multi-modality outpatient imaging facility, is seeking an experienced Radiology Administrator, to lead and oversee our center in Augusta, GA. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the AVP of Operations, the Radiology Administrator will bring: Comprehensive knowledge of business practices and budgeting, accounting, and supervisory techniques. Working knowledge of clinical and support service operations, the ability to plan and direct the work of others, and to develop and implement effective administrative policies and procedures. A comprehensive knowledge of modern business and leadership practices is required. Current working knowledge of medical and/or imaging billing, payer contracts, and reimbursement practices to include: coding (ICD9, ICD10, CPT, etc.), billing regulations, preauthorization practices, as well as registration, scheduling, and (TOS) time of service collections processes. A working knowledge of imaging accreditation and applicable industry regulations (ACR, Medicare, etc.). Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Possess the ability to develop program objectives and deadlines and work within approved budget. Proficiency in computer applications, to include MS Office Suite. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Budget and business development Sales and marketing strategy Operational strategy to ensure a constant state of regulatory compliance and safety with best practices. Partnering with radiologists to implement clinical standards and new programs and services, in an efficient and cost-effective manner to provide a unified approach to care and develops strategies for positive patient experiences. Employee Satisfaction and Engagement while building effective teams. Models organization's Standards of Business; displays honesty and integrity. Fosters cooperation and collaborates with others to achieve desired outcome. Reliable to the needs of the organization. Schedules planned absences, and minimizes impact to organization even during unplanned absences. Consistent attendance; rarely absent or late, consistently works as scheduled and is available to guide and ensure the availability of offered services day-to-day, provides effective communication and makes provision for offered services as needed, during emergency event declarations, such as inclement weather. Follows company guidelines for submission of vacation requests and notification of absence. Works hours necessary to meet deadlines and/or accomplish goals. Communicates professionally, clearly, and concisely - verbally and in writing. Actively listens to others without interruption. Verbal and non-verbal communications are reflective of organization's Standards of Behavior. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 10 or more years of senior leadership and management experience in imaging or outpatient sector of healthcare, preferably outpatient imaging. Clinical Management experience (CRA/ARRT) and/or a degree in business or related field is required.
