Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Relevant state or compact license in hand at time of application Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in Medical Surgical Unit Description: Registered Nurse needed for Medical Surgical Unit. Unit has remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses. Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. Navy blue scrubs required. Maximum 7 days requested time off during assignment. Weekend work required every other weekend. Floating as needed. No on-call requirements. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the RN is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the RN is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the RN is expected to work two. Compliance with all requirements must be met to ensure an on-time start. Orientation is 13 hours and must be completed.
