Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Experience with all Potential ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, MS, MS Tele, PCU diagnoses. Proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, SBAR required. Must wear Navy Blue scrubs. Description: Guaranteed 36 or 48 Hour work week. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The primary responsibility is ICU Float, but floating to MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the hospital can be expected. Patient ratio is 1:2-3 in ICU, 1:4-5 in PCU, and 1:5-6 in MS/MS Tele. Weekends are required every other weekend, approximately 6 weekends per 13-week contract. Holiday work is required if one or more major holidays fall during the assignment, with expectations depending on the number of holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start date by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation. Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts. Candidates must complete all compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure an on-time start.
