TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Float Job Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Experience: Minimum 1 year; First-time travelers are accepted License: [State or Compact License Required at Time of Submission] Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic experience, ability to float to all MS, MS/Tele units within the hospital Job Description: - Work within a Medical Surgical Float Pool, covering various units as needed. - Care for patient populations ranging from adults to geriatrics. - Required to float to all MS and MS Telemetry diagnoses units and possibly to a nearby sister campus. - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 depending on census. - Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems required. - Wear navy blue scrubs as uniform. - Work every other weekend (average 6 weekends within a 13-week contract). - No call requirements. - Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. - Complete a 13-hour orientation. - Full compliance required to start on time, with a deadline Tuesday prior to the start date. - Must provide two supervisory references, preferably manager-level or above.
