A-Line Staffing is now hiring a LVNIf you are interested in this LVN position, please contact Marcia Hamilton at (586) 710-7979LVN CompensationThe pay for this position is $33.00-35.00 per hourBenefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employmentA 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility datesLVN HighlightsThis position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs the required availability for this position 6-week blocks following the 3 weeks of training/orientation. Depending on the needs of the clinic, you can expect a shift to be between 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours.A typical work week will be two or three weekdays plus every other weekend.This position also requires working on some major holidays.LVN ResponsibilitiesAdminister vaccinations and injections including but not limited to influenza, COVID, and TB test placements Obtain vital signsProvide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site in emergent situationsPerform patient registration, intake, and checkoutAssist with wait room management and other responsibilities such as patient reminder and other outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and chaperone for sensitive exams to enhance the patient experience.Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experienceHelp meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activitiesLVN RequirementsThe LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.Clinical experience, point of testing and phlebotomyGraduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC))Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.LVN Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
